ADM Gallery

I am specialising in Animation and during the first semester of my second year we did Storyboarding and 3D Modelling using Autodesk Maya.

Semester 1

Storyboarding

Here are a few boards that I did during the semester. The first few boards are from a chase scene assignment (25 boards) and the next few are for my midterms (100 boards)

3D Modelling

I struggled with this module so much. It was the first time I ever touched Maya. I had a lot of fun but I had even more depressing moments. I only have one assignment worth showing and the final assignment

Typography I

I took Type I as one of my electives. Here are a few of my assignments.

Semester 2

Drawn Animation

This is my first attempt at Drawn Animtation, here is my reel! Special thanks to Davis for your patience and all the very precious, interesting, unexpected life lessons you gave us along the way

Stop Motion

I have a love hate relationship with this module. Here is my reel for the semester.

I enjoyed creating my puppets the most, not so much of animating them.

Digital Paniting

I had a lot of fun and I also learnt many tricks and tips from my professor, Martin Constable, on how to work better in Photoshop. Thank you for your patience. knowledge and unexpected outbursts of emotions in class!

A new and interesting technique I learnt was 'procedural painting' which can be seen in the Candle image. It is created using shapes, blendmodes and applying image textures (it is not painted with a brush).

Here are some of the class/homework exercises.

Illustration

I struggled the most in this module because I had to discard all that I thought I knew to create a totally different Illustration. I am very grateful to have Hans Peter Bacher as my teacher. Thank you for being so generous in sharing all your wisdom, knowlegde, and multitudes of experiences in illustration, animation and life with us.
